Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Program of the day: Our guide will pick you up from your lodge early in the morning, followed by a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park after a briefing. The park is famous for its majestic baobab trees, often known as "trees of life," which dot the landscape and enhance the beauty of Tarangire's surroundings. The Tarangire River, the park's primary source of water, attracts hundreds of species, especially during the dry season.

Upon arrival in Tarangire, you will embark on a game drive in search of the park's wildlife, which includes lesser kudus, buffaloes, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. You may also encounter predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs if you're lucky. After a brief game drive, you will have lunch at one of the park's picnic spots. You will then continue with an afternoon game drive to search for more wildlife and other park attractions. In the evening, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
