Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

We will drive toward the fertile highlands where the Iraqis grow corn, wheat, and coffee after breakfast. After passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will go to the breathtakingly beautiful Ngorongoro Crater. When a volcano exploded three million years ago, this crater was created. We'll then proceed to the Serengeti National Park to continue our journey. According to the Maasai people's native language, Mara, "Serengeti" means "endless plains.". By midday, we will reach the park.
The largest in Tanzania, the Serengeti boasts a variety of habitats and landscapes, including savannahs, lakes, grassy plains, swamps, and mountains. As thousands of animals migrate through the area each year in search of food and water, you might be able to see them depending on the season. The Central Serengeti Luxury Camp is where you will have dinner and spend the night after a long game drive.

Serengeti National park

Serengeti National park

Game drives in the Serengeti National Park take place throughout the day. The Serengeti is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, buffalo, and impalas. The yearly migration of herds of zebras and wildebeest, however, is what makes it more famous. The animals migrate at different times of the year, which are determined by the rainfall. The animals migrate from the hilly and forested northern area to the grassy plains of the south in November and December.

The prolonged rainy season, which runs from April to June, is when they head back north. Predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards may be visible in addition to the migratory herds, as they are constantly in the area. Following an amazing day, you will head back to your lodging for dinner and the night.

You will go on another game drive in the Serengeti National Park following breakfast. Before you get to Ngorongoro Crater, you might see the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. The unfenced reserves allow for unhindered game viewing because the animals are allowed to roam freely.

You will get a preview of what the next day will bring when you reach the edge of the crater: shimmering streams, open grassland, and countless animals. At the Ang`ata Ngorongoro camp on the rim of the crater, you will spend the night. As you fall asleep, the orange glow of the sunset will surround you.

Ngorongoro crater

After the breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the rising sun over the edge of the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa's Seven Wonders and one of the planet's most amazing ecosystems, was created by a massive volcano explosion millions of years ago. It covers approximately 260 square kilometers and is 610 meters deep. The crater provides the best game viewing of any Tanzanian park because of its dense animal population of about 25,000. You will see gazelles, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the region in a matter of minutes. With a little luck, you may be able to see the endangered black rhino through the grass.
