Nairobi- Amboseli

On arrival at JKIA International Airport or after pick-up from your hotel, you will meet our representative and be briefed on your safari. We then drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. We have game viewing en-route with the immense grandeur of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. We have lunch at Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli and spend the afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening game drive.

Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, is one of the most popular of Kenya's national parks. The park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro at 5,896 meters. Against this magnificent backdrop, roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle, hippo and wildebeest. There are over 400 species of birds, and a diversity of flora and fauna. We have dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.

Amboseli National Park

Spend another exciting day in Amboseli National Park. We recommend that you get up early in the morning when you can experience excellent game viewing and an unprecedented view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife, or simply relax at your lodge and take in the African wilderness.

We go on an afternoon game drive in anticipation of seeing the “Big Five”. Later, we return to Ol Tukai Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli-Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast at your lodge and depart towards Namanga border.
After custom formalities you will meet your Tanzanian driver (our professional English-speaking driver/guide in Tanzania and depart to Tarangire National Park. It has a wide variety of animals and landscape which has the greatest concentration of African elephants and the ancient baobab trees. Tarangire has an area of approximately 2603 square Kilometers. Plenty of animals to see are giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos, warthogs, Lions, Leopards, Impala, gazelles, dik dik and many more species. There are more than 500 birds’ species like the bee eaters, swallows, ostriches, kori bustards, hammerkops, vultures etc. The word Tarangire comes from Mbugwe tribe whereby “Tara” means river and Ngire means warthogs therefore it is the river of warthogs. Have picnic lunch, followed by a game drive until late afternoon. Depart to your lodge

Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti

Have breakfast at your lodge, check out and depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the drive is approximately 45mins to the gate. Ngorongoro crater is a world heritage site as well as a geo-park. It is 600m deep and before you descend the crater you will stop at a view point where you can see the crater below. The Ngorongoro crater has approximately 25000 mammals and has more than 500 birds’ species where there are also migratory birds like the flamingos. It is the best place in East Africa to witness the endangered black rhinos, Zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, lion prides, gazelles, impalas, kudus, waterbucks, buffalos and many more. The Ngoitoktok picnic site is a permanent hippo pool where most of the clients have their faboulous lunch at this place. After lunch have a game drive before you ascend the crater and drive straight to your accommodation in Serengeti for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara-Arusha

Have breakfast at your lodge and check out. Then depart to Lake Manyara National Park whereby the drive is approximately 1 hour to the gate. Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its birds’ life and also known as the home of tree climbing lions. The park has an area of about 325 square kilometers whereby a third of the area is the land and the rest is the lake which makes Lake Manyara the best attraction. Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake that attracts a number of birds to the area. The birds’ species that can be found in Lake Manyara includes both migratory birds and native birds species like the flamingos, pelicans, storks, herons, cranes, secretary birds, ground hornbills, ostriches and many more birds species. Animals found in lake Manyara are lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, baboons, etc. Have picnic Lunch. After drive to Arusha. Drop off at the International Airport or at a hotel in Arusha(option that applies), where the safari ends.
