This morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this epic safari. Located 120km west of Arusha, Manyara is both compact and diverse, set against the impressive Great Rift Escarpment. The park is home to Lake Manyara, a shallow, seasonal salt lake teeming with thousands of wading birds, including flamingos, and over 500 other bird species. In the park's evergreen forest, you may spot baboons and elephants. Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging on acacia branches.
