Program of the day: Early in the morning, at 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Named after the Tarangire River, this park, known as the 'river of warthogs,' serves as the sole water source for wildlife during the dry season. Witness impressive elephant families gathering by the river, alongside giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators like lions and leopards closely trail these animals, creating captivating scenes. Tarangire boasts an exceptional variety of breeding bird species, and ancient baobab trees, some surpassing a thousand years, dot the landscape.

Program of the day: After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu area, you’ll begin your safari journey to the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Known as the "Garden of Eden," the Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique ecosystems in the world. Formed millions of years ago by a volcanic eruption, the Crater offers stunning views and an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the inlusive black rhino. The Crater's floor is home to a variety of species, from wildebeest and zebras to hippos in its lakes and flamingos that grace its soda lakes. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy picnic sites for lunch with breathtaking views, all while being immersed in the incredible biodiversity of this natural wonder. The close encounters with black rhinos and other wildlife make this a truly exceptional experience.

Program of the day: This morning, journey to Lake Manyara National Park, marking the finale of this epic safari! Manyara, a compact yet diverse park, boasts unique dimensions—narrow but towering with the Great Rift Escarpment. The park's namesake, a shallow salt lake, transforms with seasons, hosting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and 500+ bird species. Spot baboons and elephants in the lush evergreen forest and keep an eye out for the renowned tree-climbing lions.
