Over 2 million migrating animals participate in this annual journey: 1.5 million wildebeest, 400,000 zebra, and 300,000 Gazelles accompanied by various goals: to find fresh, green grass. So the great migration takes place throughout the year. Prey and predators follow a relatively predictable but variable annual cycle dependent on rainfall and abundant green grass.

After breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive. The Lobo area and the Grumeti River offer year-round wildlife viewing. Non-migratory animals such as elephants, buffalos, gazelles, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are present throughout the year. Also, wildlife viewing is excellent, and you can watch for hours without seeing other vehicles — truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Above all, you will find magnificent riverine trees along the river lines and bird species such as kingfishers and fish eagles.
In the evening we return to Embalai for dinner and an evening game drive until 12:00 before midnight.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Airport
Your journey starts early in the morning. We can pick up breakfast from the lodge and start your new adventure to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This is a half-day safari. At 17:00 p.m., you will fly from Arusha to Zanzibar.
There will be cooled mineral water and a nice picnic lunch with us. So you are fully prepared to explore the Ngorongoro Crater.
The Ngorongoro crater is known as the eighth wonder of the world!
The Big Five animals —lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros, and African buffalo—are indeed enormous.
In Ngorongoro Crater, it’s possible to see all the Big Five.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), measuring 8,300 square kilometers, is the only place on earth where humankind and wild animals coexist harmoniously. Above all, the Ngorongoro crater sinks to a depth of 610 meters, with a base area covering 260 square kilometers. Thereby, the height of the original volcano must have ranged between 4,500 to 5,800 meters.
