As you travel through the scenic Masai plains with scattered acacia trees, you'll witness Masai in vibrant attire walking, cycling, or herding animals.
Tarangire, named after the life-giving Tarangire River, is renowned for its elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and incredible wildlife, including giraffes, bush-bucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. Bird enthusiasts will marvel at the park's unmatched diversity of breeding bird species.

Known for its vibrant bird-life and famous tree-climbing lions, this unspoiled paradise lies between the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment and the alkaline Lake Manyara, home to thousands of flamingos during the rainy season.
The park's name, derived from the Maasai word emanyara, refers to a plant used to build protective enclosures. Its diverse landscapes, from Savannah to evergreen forests, are teeming with wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and occasionally lions perched in trees.

Along the route, you'll pass through the misty rain-forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where sightings of baboons, leopards, or elephants in the dense vegetation are possible.
As you pass the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, you'll proceed to the iconic Serengeti National Park, arriving by midday. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest park, features diverse landscapes, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, Savannah, and mountains.
After an exciting game drive, you'll head to Nyota Luxury Camp, perched on a hill with stunning panoramic views of the Serengeti, for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

This day is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti with Chemli Expeditions. Known for its vast open grasslands, the Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife sightings and is Tanzania's oldest national park, as well as one of the oldest ecosystems on Earth. The park's climate and vegetation have remained largely unchanged for millions of years.
While home to abundant wildlife, the Serengeti is particularly famous for the Great Migration. Each year, millions of wildebeest, along with zebras and antelope, follow an annual route in search of fresh grazing, with their movements guided by seasonal rainfall.
After an exhilarating game drive, you'll return to Nyota Luxury Camp for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars.

After breakfast, you'll drive from the Serengeti to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater with Chemli Expeditions. Upon arrival, the crater appears as a hidden world, encased by towering volcanic walls. Inside, you'll discover a pristine wilderness, featuring vast savanna's, acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. Formed millions of years ago by a massive volcanic eruption and collapse, the crater offers a truly unique landscape.
The descent into the crater is an adventure of its own. On the crater floor, you'll encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as over 500 bird species. Ngorongoro also offers the best opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino in the open grasslands.
After an exciting afternoon exploring the crater, you'll head to your accommodation in Karatu for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.
