Depending on your location in Kampala or Entebbe, you will be picked up by our company safari guide who will drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. You'll have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is a 3-hour road drive from Kampala for a rhino trekking experience. After the adventure, you will have lunch and continue to Murchison Falls National Park entering via the Kichumbanyobo gate on the side of Masindi town. You'll arrive at the park in the evening and transfer to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise On The Nile

You will have an early morning breakfast. Afterward, you will go for a morning game drive at the Nile Delta where you anticipate spotting various wildlife species like elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs, and many more. You'll retire back and have lunch. By 2:00 pm, you will go for a boat cruise towards the bottom of the Murchison Falls along the Victoria Nile. You'll enjoy the views of the highest concentration of hippos and a large number of crocodiles resting along the River banks, as well as high amounts of various wildlife species getting down to calm their thirst and bathe. After the boat ride to the bottom of the falls, you will hike up to the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your safari guide to return to the lodge.

You will have an early breakfast and embark on your whole day road trip to Kibale Forest National Park, which is the top safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. You will arrive at the park late in the evening and proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After morning breakfast, you will head out for chimpanzee trekking with your picnic-packed lunch and enough water. You'll meet your ranger guide at the park offices. Then, you'll enter the rainforest to begin the search for the man’s closest cousins. This will take about 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. Upon seeing them, you will spend 1 full hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures and observing their characters. After chimpanzee trekking, you will head to refresh at the lodge. Then, you'll embark on a 2-3 hour nature walk at Bigodi Swamp. From there, you will proceed with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a 3-hour road drive from Fort Portal en route to the Equator.

After breakfast early morning, you will head out for a game drive at the Kasenyi area where you will be spotting a good number of wildlife species including the African elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, cape buffaloes, and other species of antelopes. After enjoying your relaxed lunch at the lodge, you will embark on your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife and bird-watching experience as you cruise on the intersection of Lake Edward and George.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park For Gorillas

After breakfast, you will drive out of Queen Elizabeth to connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (home to Ugandan mountain gorillas) via the Ishasha sector for a tree-climbing lion game drive. If lucky, you can have a chance to see the rare tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees. Later, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and proceed to the park offices with your picnic-packed lunch and water. You'll have a briefing from the park warden about the gorillas. The adventure starts at 8 am. You will be allocated to the gorilla family together with your ranger guides on duty. The trekking can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you arrive at the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one full hour with them as you stand in a distance of 6 meters away learning, and observing their characters. From there, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll have a road trip transfer back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. You'll proceed to the equator line for the photographic moment. You will arrive in Kampala late in the evening, with a drop-off at your hotel or Entebbe city for your departure.
