Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your Chemli Expeditions representative will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Enjoy a restful overnight stay at the Forest Hill Hotel, where you'll relax and prepare for your exciting safari adventure the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire NP

Arusha to Tarangire NP

After an early breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the region's vital water source during the dry season. The park features lush vegetation, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, from playful calves to majestic bulls. You may also encounter giraffes, bush-bucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. The park boasts the highest number of bird species. After lunch and a thrilling game drive, head to your accommodation near the park, arriving in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3-4

After breakfast, you will head towards the far south of the Serengeti National Park, also known as Ndutu.
Lake Ndutu, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is an integral part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. This alkaline lake, like many Rift lakes, provides drinkable water to a wide variety of local wildlife. From December to April, the area is bustling with the wildebeest migration on the short-grass plains. The region is also home to large elephant herds, abundant bird-life, and resident wildlife. Ndutu lies at the intersection of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the southern Serengeti, offering a unique wildlife experience. After a day of extensive game drives and a delicious lunch, you will head to your accommodation for a two-night stay.
