Day 1

You have morning breakfast and thereafter the driver guide will be there to pick you up by 7:30 am for the start of your safari to Murchison falls national park, you will drive north of Uganda along Kampala-Gulu highway, with enroute stop over at the Ziwa Rhion sanctuary where you will take part in Rhino tracking, this will take about 2-3 hours tracking, check out with enroute lunch in Kabalega dinners or Masindi town located at the Kampala- Gulu Highway. Embark on your journey and drive to Murchison falls national park. Proceed and enter the park with a visit to the top of the falls where you will see the Nile’s beauty compressing from 45 meters to squeeze through a 7-meter canyon dropping 40 meters and dropping down with a thunderous roar. Continue to the lodge with enroute game drive, check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Wake up early and have morning breakfast and drive to the park for game drive by 7:00am, to catch up with the park coming alive and the predators hunting for prey. Murchison falls has got variety of animals and several bird species that you will be able to see during the game drive in the park. The driver guide will explore several tracks in the park as you search for the game. While on the game drive, you will be able to see animals like elephants, buffalos, giraffes, lions, water bucks, Uganda Kobs, Jackson heartbeats, antelopes, warthogs among others. The game drive goes up to 12pm where you will drive to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will go for 2:00pm boat cruise on the river Nile which will last for about 2 hours, during the boat, you will see several animals.

Day 3

Have breakfast ready with your packed breakfast proceed to Murchison falls via Masindi and Hoima past Lake Albert. Have a view of the Albert rift on a clear day. Drive towards the legendary ‘Mountains of the moon’ as you pass through the tea plantations to Fort portal, drive on and on arrival have dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi

Rise up early and have morning breakfast, meet your driver guide and drive to Kasenyi plains for game drive, mornings are best game viewing when the animals are most active. You will be able to see lots of animals including the buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, lions, antelopes among others. The drive goes on until noon. Drive to the lodge for lunch. After transfer to Bwindi, the journey takes 4 to 5hrs on maram road, then you will have a rest at the lodge as you wait for your morning activity.

Day 5

Early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters in time for briefing before you head on for the activity. Then head into the forest to search for the mountain gorillas in the dense forested area with slippery slopes and the mist covered vegetation. The activity is surely strenuous but then again fully rewarding on sight of the huge gorillas, you will be able to take pictures and observe their various characters as they feed play and relate. Your allowed a full hour with these creatures and there after head back freshen up dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Drive to Kampala

This day will mark the end of your six days safari. You will check out of the hotel with your back pack then embark on the journey to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo cultural centre where you will have lunch and also take a mini tour in the centre to know more about the Ankole culture. Then drive back to entebbe.
