2 travelers on Start dateYou will be collected in Cape Town from your hotel or place of residence at between 04:30 - 05:00 am for the 2.5 hour drive to Gansbaai. On arrival you’ll enjoy coffee/tea and muffins while listening to a safety and conservation briefing, after which you’ll be issued with safety jackets and wet weather gear.
You'll then board a spacious ocean certified vessel specifically custom designed for passenger comfort and safety in all weather conditions.
The boat will cruise around Dyer Island - a 20 hectare marine reserve consisting of three islets situated 8.5km from the harbor. Along the way, you may gain unique sightings of whales, sharks, dolphins, seals, and a wide variety of seabird species. The on-board biologist and experienced crew promise an educational, life changing experience.
After the sea cruise, you’ll return to Gansbaai for a light lunch and then visit the nearby African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary before returning to Cape Town.
