Day 2

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Scenic Backdrops of Western Uganda

After an early breakfast, your guide will be waiting for the start of a long but scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, lunch enroute, arriving at the lodge late afternoon. The park is famed for it's elephant herds and an array of other herbivores, besides Kazinga Channel- a navigable water resource connecting Lake George and Lake Edward.

Enjoy a late afternoon game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, checking into Elephant Hab Cottages just before dusk.

Freshen up, have dinner and retire to the comfort of your bed as you dream away tomorrow's adventure.

Day 3

Morning Gama Drive in Queen Elizabeth NP -Mweya sector and Boat Ride on the Kazinga Channel

After your breakfast, go for a game drive in the Northern sector- Mweya. Have lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge, and thereafter be at the pier for your scheduled 2-hour boat ride on Kazinga Channel.

The resident guides from Uganda Wildlife Authority will guide you through the diverse aquatic and birdlife who call this channel home. Be on the look our for huge Nile Crocodiles as the bask on the banks.

In the evening, return to Elephant Hab Cottages for freshening up, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park with an en- route game drive through the Ishasha Sector where you might see the tree- climbing lions of Ishasha.

You will stopover for lunch on the way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Proceed to Mahogany Springs Lodge located in the Buhoma Sector of Bwindi for check-in, freshening up, dinner and overnight.

Tomorrow, the highlight of your Ugandan safari awaits!

Day 5

Uganda Visit Highlight- Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Wake up to an early breakfast, and thereafter your guide will transfer you to the park gate headquarters for a safety briefing and allocation of tracking team. Upon booking this tour, we will share a detailed manual and packing list for the gorilla trekking safari.

There are several gorilla families that have been habituated for trekking, and you will be assigned to a family and allocated rangers and trackers to assist in the search of the Mountain Gorillas- an experience you won’t soon forget!

Later, exit the park and return to Mahogany Springs Lodge for relaxing, dinner and overnight stay.

Recommended (not included): book a full-body massage session to rub away the soreness from the gorilla trek.

After your breakfast, check out of Mahogany Springs Lodge and start for Lake Mburo National Park.

Enjoy the scenic drive, with rolling hills, lush greenery, and banana and forest plantations on the way. Have lunch enroute, so you can proceed straight to a boat ride on the Lake Mburo, and upon exit, a late afternoon game drive.

NOTE: The boat ride requires a minimum number of 4 pax to operate.

Dinner and Overnight at Mihingo Lodge.
