Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha / Game drive in Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning,0600am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 09:15 am, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity including, large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. It is possible that you will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.
Once the game drive is done, you will drive back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Afternoon: You will enjoy your packed Lunch inside the Park
Game drive end (0400pm) and drive to the Lodge for dinner and relax.

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Early morning is the best time to enter the crater, as the wildlife is most active and the views—especially at sunrise—are truly breathtaking.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and home to approximately 30,000 large animals, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find a wide variety of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. It's one of the best places in Africa to see many animals in a short amount of time.

Your game drive will conclude in the early afternoon, after which you will continue your journey to central Serengeti, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at your accommodation.

After breakfast, you will head out for a full day of exploring the Serengeti. With a picnic lunch packed, you can take your time and enjoy the beauty of the park. The Serengeti is one of the best places in the world to see wild animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. The animals live freely here, just as they have for thousands of years.

You may see the famous Great Migration, where huge groups of wildebeest and zebras move across the land. The wide open plains and endless sky make this a truly special place.

In the late afternoon, you will go back to your camp in the heart of the Serengeti to relax. Enjoy a nice dinner and rest overnight, listening to the peaceful sounds of nature around you.

Early morning Game drive in Serengeti/ Flight from Arusha airport to Zanzibar

Today marks the end of your safari with Akondo Adventures.

Enjoy breakfast at 6:30 am, then head out for a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After the game drive, you will begin your journey back to Arusha Airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 pm.

You will arrive in Zanzibar at 5:30 pm, where our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.
