Wake up to a hearty breakfast and a relaxed morning. It is not recommended to visit Kenya especially for the first time and fail to explore the city of Nairobi, reknown as the only one in the world with a national park. Today we will start out with a visit to David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which is fun activity with the orphaned elephants, then proceed to AFEW Giraffe Center for another exciting time with the graceful giraffes. Feed them from your hand and get a kiss from a raspy tongue.
Lunch at the Talisman. The Talisman is celebrated for its elegant gastro-lounge setting, featuring a lovely outdoor seating area that enhances the dining experience. The restaurant is designed to be environmentally friendly, with an organic garden that contributes to its fresh offerings. After lunch we take a trip to Karen Blixen Museum, ending the day with a visit to Kazuri Bead Factory an artisan workshop known for its exquisite handcrafted jewelry and ceramics.

Amboseli National Park
This park is a highlight of our safari. Departing from Emara Ole Sereni Hotel at 8.00am or thereabouts, our safari entourage is bound to arrive Amboseli National Park situated at the footsteps of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge, a recommended accommodation facility in Amboseli. You will have an opportunity to view some animals en-route. In the afternoon at 3-4 pm, our safari guide leads us to venture into the park for game viewing and sightseeing.

Explore Amboseli
On the morning of our second day in this Amboseli Safari, we will start with one of the best places to explore - the marshlands. These are feeding grounds for the largest population of elephants in Kenya, while buffalos and hippos wallow in the shallow swamps.
The backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro makes spectacular photography in the morning and at sunset. The 425 different species of birds makes Amboseli National Park a prime birding destination.
The Amboseli ecosystem is part of our sight-seeing and is typical of the open Savannah grassland habitats of Eastern Africa, the swamps and bogs, riverine habitats offer a haven for the considerable avian population. Our safari exploration in Amboseli stops at lunch time and returns to Amboseli Serena Lodge for lunch and relaxation until 3-4pm for a late afternoon crest drive in this wonderful park.

Aberdare National Park
The drive here can be taxing but is made easier by use of the Expressway and road by-passes. Starting out early in Amboseli, lunch is en-route at the outskirts of Nairobi. Arrive in time to relax for the evening at Aberdares Country Club and transition to the Ark Lodge in the heart of Aberdares National Park the following morning.
Aberdare National Park is a true gem of Kenya, offering visitors a chance to experience the wonders of nature in a tranquil and picturesque setting. The setting differs greatly from the Amboseli we were and the lush cool mountain ambience is remarkable. Whether one is interested in wildlife viewing from the comfort of the raised platform, hiking, or simply enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, Aberdare is worth a visit.
Aberdare National Park is home to several spectacular waterfalls. Karuru Falls is the tallest waterfall in Kenya, cascading over 300 meters. Gura Falls, is another beautiful waterfall that adds to the park's scenic beauty.

The Ark
The Ark is a unique and iconic lodge located in the heart of Aberdare National Park, Kenya.
Overview: The Ark is designed to resemble an actual ark, providing a quirky and memorable experience for guests. It overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a variety of wildlife, making it an excellent spot for animal viewing.

Safari entourage now heads to the eccentric Samburu National Reserve after breakfast at around 9.00am on a journey of approximately 3 hours. This can be a good day to go for an optional skies over Mara safari.
