Day 1

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Your safari will start with a pick-up at JKIA or your hotel in Nairobi at around 7 AM. You will then drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On your way, you will have a stopover at the equator line for photo sessions and a "change of hemispheres" demonstration. You will arrive at the hotel and check in. Freshen up and have a hot lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive.

The conservancy is celebrated for hosting the only two remaining endangered northern white rhinos in the world. It also houses Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya, it is East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary and is home to the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard).

After the game drive, you will drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive north to Samburu National Reserve. After settling into your accommodation, enjoy a delightful lunch to relax and refuel. The afternoon features an exhilarating game drive where you can spot rare species like Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, and long-necked gerenuk. Samburu's diverse ecosystem, from savannahs to riverine forests, provides a stunning backdrop for wildlife observation.

After your game drive, enjoy a peaceful dinner at the lodge.

Day 3

Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species – the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also, where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope other than the big five wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4
