05h00: Depart from your city hotel for Akagera National Park. A brief stop is planned en route for a restroom break t at Imigongo Restaurant and Art Centre. We then resume our journey.
08h00: Upon arrival at the park headquarters, we'll complete necessary tour formalities and receive a briefing from the warden. We then head straight to the Lake Ihema jetty. 09h00: Embark on a guided boat tour. The lake's shores host some of Africa’s densest populations of water birds. 10h30: After the boat ride, reconnect with your driver guide for a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park. Enjoy a hot lunch at Lake Mihindi Restaurant.
The park's landscape, a harmonious blend of gentle hills and lowland swamps, offers a unique safari experience. You will exit the park from the North by 17h00 and drive back to Kigali. Arrive and drop off at your city hotel by 20h00.
