Day 2

Majestic central serengeti

Majestic central serengeti

The Serengeti's greatest spectacle is the Great Migration an awe-inspiring journey of over two million wildebeest and zebras as they travel north from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. One of the most dramatic moments of this migration is the crossing of the Mara River, a perilous obstacle that tests the endurance and survival instincts of the herds.

As they navigate the river’s strong currents, the animals face lurking dangers, including stealthy crocodiles waiting beneath the murky waters. On the riverbanks, predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas lie in wait, ready to pounce on any vulnerable prey. This crossing is both a life-or-death challenge for the animals and a breathtaking experience for those fortunate enough to witness it.
