Arrival to Livingstone

On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be met by a representative.

Depart for your onward transfer to The Royal Livingstone Hotel, situated in Livingstone.

Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and spend the day at leisure.

In the afternoon, meet your driver for your transfer to the African Queen jetty, for your sunset cruise.

The African Queen is a triple deck 70ft catamaran, furnished with Rhodesian Teak, Beech Wood and brass finishes. Accommodating a total of 120 guests, offering luxurious cruises on the Zambezi River, you can experience all the wonders that nature and this mighty river have to offer.

On arrival at the Royal Landing, you are greeted with a cold cocktail and the sounds of the Marimba Band, a local instrument that laments the sounds of Africa. A full bar on both upper and lower deck serve a selection of cocktails, iced drinks and a variety of snacks.

Livingstone Island Tour

Breakfast at the hotel.

You will be met by your guide, at the hotel reception and transferred to the jetty for your Livingstone Island Tour (Lunch Tour).

Your tour begins by departing by boat for Livingstone Island from the Livingstone Island Launch Site. Our guides will let you in on the incredible history of the island as you follow the footsteps of Dr. David Livingstone all the way to the edge of the waterfall. Depending on river heights, prepare to be drenched in the spray from the Falls or watch a rainbow stretch across the open gorge. Those who wish can even take a dip in Devil’s Pool or Angel's Pool, and everybody completes the experience with a 5-star gourmet meal prepared for you on the island itself.

Return to the hotel and spend the balance of the evening at leisure.

White-water Rafting Tour

Flight to Royal Zambezi Lodge via Lusaka

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check out.

You will be met by your driver and transferred to Livingstone Airport (LVI).

Proceed with check in formalities for your onward scheduled flight to Lusaka.

On arrival in Lusaka, you will be met by a representative and assisted with check in for your onward scheduled charter flight to The Royal Airstrip.

At the Royal Airstrip, meet your Royal Zambezi representative for your onward transfer to the lodge.

On arrival you will be met by the wonderful staff.

Full day at Royal Zambezi Lodge

You are woken up very early by your ranger for your morning safari. Of course, you can choose to stay and have a relaxing morning at the lodge.

Before you head out you will enjoy coffee and snacks.

During the morning drive you will stop in a secluded spot in the bush to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee. Snacks will also be served while you chat about the morning’s sightings.

On return to the lodge a hearty breakfast of your choice will be served.

Spend the balance of the day at leisure.

You will be met by your ranger for afternoon tea before setting off on a game drive to find some of Africa's wildlife.

Sundowners and snacks will be scheduled at a place in the bush where the magnificent African sunset can be enjoyed.

Proceed with a short drive with spotlights turned on, in the search for some of Africa's nocturnal animals.

Return to the lodge and freshen up before dinner.

Dinner is served at the lodge.

Return to the room for a good night’s rest.
