After breakfast, we will pick you up from your lodge or hotel and head off the beaten track to Lake Natron, following the Rift Valley Escarpment northward. Along the way, you'll pass through typical Maasai territory, and soon Ol’doinyo Lengai—the holy mountain of the Maasai—will come into view. We will reach the small Maasai village of Ngare Sero, where you can enjoy a guided bush walk to Lake Natron. The shores of the lake shimmer in pink as thousands of flamingos gather to breed in its alkaline waters. Alternatively, you may choose to explore a nearby waterfall and enjoy a refreshing bath.

Lake Natron To Northern Serengeti National park
Start your journey early and continue north as the vehicle gradually ascends along several winding turns. Take a moment to enjoy the final view of Lake Natron before leaving the Rift Valley behind. Travel through the village of Wasso on your way to Northern Serengeti. You will enter the Serengeti at Kleins Gate around midday and enjoy your first game drive in the Lobo area.
Between October and December, you can witness large herds of wildebeests as they migrate back to the southern plains. Lobo is home to a rich variety of resident wildlife, including leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and zebras, thanks to its permanent springs and open grass plains dotted with kopjes. After your game drive, proceed to your overnight accommodation.

Serengeti National Park
The Northern Serengeti is a fabulous place, especially during the dry season when it becomes home to incredible migratory herds! It's a beautiful and wild landscape that's just waiting to be explored. One of the most exciting sights here is the huge gatherings of wildebeest and zebra as they make their journey. But that's not all—the North Serengeti is also alive with a vibrant mix of resident wildlife, including majestic lions, playful elephants, charming hippos, graceful giraffes, cunning crocodiles, and even the rare oribi antelopes. Central Serengeti National park
After a relaxed morning, drive towards Central Serengeti and spend the day observing wildlife in the Seronera Valley. This valley is teeming with wildlife throughout the year, including carnivores such as cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, and lions. You will also encounter various ungulates, including buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, impalas, topis, warthogs, and zebras.
Do you know how to distinguish a Grant's gazelle from a Thomson's gazelle? Both gazelles have a white rump, but the Thomson's gazelle is marked by a thin black horizontal stripe below the paler brown one. Additionally, the Thomson's gazelle has an entirely black tail, while the white rump patch of the Grant's gazelle extends above its tail. Be sure to ask your guide about these differences and more as you continue to your accommodation.

Serengeti National park To Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy another game drive in Serengeti National Park before continuing to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which was established in 1959 after being separated from the Serengeti. The Maasai residents originally living in Serengeti National Park were relocated to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where they continue to coexist harmoniously with wildlife and nature.
Did you know that the Ngorongoro Conservation Area encompasses a diverse range of topographical features and includes nine distinct craters within its boundaries? Your guide will happily provide more information about this remarkable destination, which covers an area of 8,292 square kilometers.
After your exploration, proceed to your accommodation on the rim of the crater, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the caldera. As night falls, you'll be treated to a sky full of stars. Alternatively, you can choose to continue your journey to your accommodation in Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater To Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, drive along the rim of the crater to Seneto Gate on the western side, then descend into the crater floor via an adventurous path—what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a vast number of animals, thanks to its reliable water supply. Animals frequently move in and out of the area. During the dry season, there is an increase in the number of wildebeests and zebras, while the wet season sees a rise in elands, elephants, and waterbucks. Keep an eye out for the 'Big Five'—buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened black rhinoceros. After an intensive day of game viewing, continue on to Lake Eyasi for your overnight stay.

Lake Eyasi To arusha
In the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area lies the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a soda lake fed by the Sibiti and Baray Rivers. A visit to Eyasi Lake offers a unique safari experience that differs from the typical wilderness excursions you may have encountered in Tanzania with African Mecca. This region is home to the Hadzabe and Datoga communities, who continue to practice their ancient lifestyles of hunting-gathering and pastoralism.
Visiting the villages provides an intimate look into the daily lives of these communities. You may be invited into their homes, learn about their family structures, and participate in traditional dances and bead-making with the women. You can also join the Hadzabe tribesmen in small game hunting, learn how to make bows and arrows, and engage in various cultural activities.
In the early evening, you will drive to Arusha for your overnight stay. After the tour, you can either be dropped off at the airport or choose to stay an additional day.
