Embark on an unforgettable journey to South Luangwa National Park, Zambia's premier safari destination. After a flight to Mfuwe Airport via Lusaka, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a guide from Robin Pope Safaris and driven through the park to Tena Tena Camp.

Nestled on a bend of the Luangwa River, this intimate camp offers just five luxurious tents, each with a private veranda overlooking a wildlife-rich waterhole. Shaded by mahogany trees, the camp features a thatched dining area and bar, ideal for observing elephants, hippos, and antelope.

Upon arrival, enjoy a delightful lunch, followed by a restful siesta. Later, embark on an afternoon and evening game drive, immersing yourself in the park’s incredible wildlife and natural beauty.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast by the campfire, featuring porridge warmed over open flames and toast crisped on glowing coals. After breakfast, head out on a morning walking safari or game drive, exploring the rich wildlife of the area, including family herds of elephants and the endemic Thornicroft Giraffe.

Mid-morning, pause at a scenic spot by a lagoon or along the Luangwa River for tea, coffee, and freshly baked cake. Return to camp for a delicious lunch around noon.
