afternoon travel to Masai Mara. The Masai Mara Game Reserve (also known as the Masai Mara, and locally simply as The Mara) is a
large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in
Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people (the ancestral inhabitants of the area) and their
description of the area when looked at from afar: "Mara" means "spotted" in the local Maasai
language of Maa, due to the many trees which dot the landscape. It is world-renowned for its
exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephant, and the annual migration of
wildebeest, zebra, Thomson's gazelle and other antelope, to and from the Serengeti every year
known as the Great Migration. The Masai Mara “Big Five” are the Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard
and Rhino.

Early morning breakfast and depart the lodge with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game
viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. At lunchtime, our guide will pick a
scenic (and safe) spot where you will enjoy your lunch and hear animals howling, birds chirping and
the mighty Mara River flowing across the savannah bringing life to the park. After watching more of
the spectacle that never gets dull, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Masai Mara to Sirare/Isebania crossing the border & proceed to Serengeti Tanzanian side; Masai Mara -
Isebania – (Approximately a 3Hours’ Drive)
Depart after early breakfast with your packed lunch boxes driving to the Tanzania/Kenya border of
Isebania/Sirare to arrive from 1030hrs onwards and proceed to Serengeti National Park.
NB: Here you will say goodbye to your first guide as you cross-border and proceed with your safari to Tanzana.
The word “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai language, meaning “endless plain.” A welcome table will be
set either at Isebania gate, or the entrance gate at Serengeti, or a short distance away, with tea and coffee,
cold drinks and snacks, allowing you to refresh while your guide briefs you on the surrounding area. After
hot/cold drinks and snacks, experience your first taste of the endless plain of Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive

After an early breakfast, pack your bags and depart with your driver to Ngorongoro Crater, an early start
to the day is best in order to avoid the later influx of tourists into the Ngorongoro Crater. The park gate
opens at 0600, so it is best to be there as close to this time as possible. There are a number of lions
which are typically larger in size than an average lion due the large amount of game in the area. The
crater floor tends to get very busy, with there often being numerous vehicles at any wildlife sighting.

Drive to Lake Eyasi, a mildly alkaline lake about 55km long. If seeing hundreds of species of birds excites you,
Lake Eyasi is a perfect destination for you to see flamingos, pelicans, spoonbills, weavers, spurfowls, storks,
barbets, egrets and more. The visit includes meeting the Hadzabe & Datoga people and spend the day observing
their ways. The Hadzabe is an indigenous tribe known as the hunter gatherer Bushmen. Visit their homesteads
and learn more about their life style. Hunting in groups with bows and arrows, this tribe is able to survive with what
the environment provides. The Hadzabe bushmen treat diseases with their own medicines. The Hadzabe speak a
very unique click language. Apart from this cultural activity the area offers superb hiking, bird watching and

are therefore open to be structured as you choose, with either as much relaxing by the pool, or as many

Jozani and Spice Tour Morning breakfast ready for the drive to Jozani Forest to enjoy seeing the
Red Colobus monkeys then proceeding to the Spice farm, where you can see a variety of spice plants and
herbs. Testing the fruits and spices will give you the authentic taste. After the tours, drive back to your lodge.
