Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Program: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 151km from Arusha. A packed lunch box will be provided for you to enjoy in the park.

Tarangire National Park, named after the life-sustaining Tarangire River, serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. Established in 1970, the park is known for its rich biodiversity, hosting large herds of mammals, a variety of bird species, and unique vegetation, including majestic baobab trees and dense woodlands.

The park’s unique attractions include its tree-climbing African pythons, diverse wildlife, and vibrant birdlife, making it a paradise for game viewing and birdwatching enthusiasts. Guests can also enjoy guided nature walks and engage with local communities to gain insight into their traditions and culture, adding an enriching layer to the safari experience.

Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Program: After breakfast, you’ll collect your packed lunch and set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we’ll descend into the crater for an exciting game drive.

Inside the crater, you’ll experience an awe-inspiring setting with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The crater is home to the renowned Big Five—rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants—as well as zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, and a wide array of bird species, including flamingos, geese, storks, and vultures.

We’ll pause for lunch at a scenic picnic site near Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo-filled oasis. After the game drive, we will transfer you back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you can catch your flight home or continue your journey to another destination.
