Your driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel at 5:00 a.m. (depending on your location) and take you to the airport for a flight to Arusha, arriving around 9:20 a.m. Upon landing, your guide will be waiting to greet you.
From Arusha, you’ll begin a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, some of the largest in Africa. Traveling in an open-roof vehicle, you’ll experience the park's diverse landscapes, including seasonal swamps, vast savannas, and the vibrant Tarangire River, home to an abundance of wildlife.
The park is teeming with a variety of animals, such as birds, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, elephants, and more. As the day comes to a close, you’ll head to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
Get ready for an early 5:00 a.m. start as you set off on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, bringing your packed breakfast and lunch along. This remarkable destination is home to a wide variety of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino—if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of one. The crater spans about 20km in diameter, and you’ll spend approximately 5 hours exploring its breathtaking landscapes. After this incredible experience, you'll head back to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
