After an early breakfast, you’ll descend over 600 meters (1,970 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater, entering a vibrant ecosystem brimming with wildlife. The crater’s abundant water supply and lush vegetation provide a haven for a variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and the majestic African elephants. This area is also known for its high concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards, so keep your eyes peeled for these fascinating creatures.

As you explore, you’ll visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the crater’s southwestern corner. This picturesque location is home to flocks of flamingos, hippos, and various water birds, offering a tranquil and captivating wildlife experience.

After check-out and an early breakfast, you’ll set off for a full day of game drives at Lake Manyara National Park, with a packed lunch in hand. Though relatively small at 205 square miles, the park is renowned for its stunning landscapes, including lush acacia forests, towering fig and mahogany trees, and vibrant communities of baboons and blue monkeys.

Around midday, you’ll stop for lunch at a scenic picnic spot, taking in the surroundings before continuing your exploration.

As the day draws to a close, you’ll exit the park and make your way back to Arusha, with an estimated arrival time of 5 PM.
