Start your day with an early breakfast before checking out for a game drive en route to Amboseli National Park, passing by Mzima Springs, where over 95 million gallons of water flow daily. You’ll have the opportunity to observe hippos, crocodiles, and fish through an observation glass tank. As you head west towards Amboseli, you’ll encounter a seasonal lake that attracts waterfowl, though for most of the year, it remains a dry, soda-rich bed with desert mirages dancing across its surface. Wildlife sightings include elephants, buffalo, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, baboons, and the endangered black rhino. After lunch at the lodge, relax before heading out for a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
