Johannesburg to Greater Kruger National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

Please arrive and be ready at the OR Tambo shuttle terminal by 6:30am. Full instructions regarding your shuttle will be sent to you when you book your safari. The shuttle will depart no later than 7:00am.

You will travel east, passing scenic landscapes and farmlands on your way to our lodge, which is located just outside Hoedspruit, near Kruger National Park. Along the route, you will make comfort stops to buy snacks and refreshments and visit restrooms.

You can expect to arrive at the camp around 2:00pm.

Upon arrival, our friendly reception staff will check you in and escort you to your glamping accommodation. You will have some time to freshen up before boarding an exciting three-hour afternoon game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon Reserve.

After your safari game drive, you will return to camp to unwind, enjoy drinks around the fire, and relax before dinner, served at 7:00pm in the boma area under the stars.

Ful- Day Game Drive in Kruger National Park

Wake up to the magnificent sounds and smell of fresh African air, ready to explore Kruger National Park on safari.

The departure times will be communicated to you the night before. They will be determined based on animal activity at the time to ensure you make the most of your park experience. Your game drive will last about 7 to 8 hours and take you deep into the Orpen-Satara area.

After a morning of spotting wildlife, we will stop for a lunch break at one of the park's restaurants, where you can enjoy a snack or meal of your choice (at your own expense). Following lunch, we will embark on the afternoon leg of the game drive, gradually returning towards the Orpen Gate for exit.

Once we return to camp, you will have some free time to relax and freshen up. Join us for a delicious dinner around the fire at around 7:00pm.

Full-Day Panorama Route Tour

Today, you will embark on a tour of the Panorama Route. (Note: You can swap this for another full-day game drive in Kruger National Park at no additional cost; just let reception know by the afternoon before).

We will start with a delicious full breakfast at the lodge at 7:00am. Then, around 8:00am, you will be collected from the reception area. This full-day excursion will last about 8 hours, so please dress in comfortable clothing and shoes, as some walking will be involved.

We will stop for lunch at a local eatery at approximately noon. Please note that lunch is at your own expense. After lunch, we will continue our Panorama Route excursion, returning to the camp by around 4:00pm.

You will have some free time to relax and freshen up before joining us for dinner around the fire, which will be served at 7:00pm. You can then retreat to your room or relax around the fire a little longer before heading to bed.

Return to Johannesburg (Optional Activities in the Morning)

Today marks the final day of your safari. You can enjoy a cooked breakfast before your transfer back to Johannesburg. Please confirm the specific time to be ready with your guide or the reception the evening before.

You might still have the opportunity for one last activity to conclude your trip on a high note. Feel free to inquire about the available optional activities (at an additional cost).

After your activity or some relaxation at camp, you will be transferred to the pickup point for the shuttle to Johannesburg. You can expect to arrive at OR Tambo International Airport between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, depending on traffic conditions. Please note that any departing flights should be booked for 8:30pm or later.
