Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our dedicated safari manager will warmly welcome you to Tanzania. Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Today, you’ll depart from Arusha, the hub for safaris in Northern Tanzania, and journey along the picturesque Arusha-Dodoma highway toward Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you may stop at a supermarket (if needed) for any last-minute personal items. The scenic drive through the Maasai Steppe takes approximately two hours. Upon arrival at the park, your driver will handle the entry formalities at the gate before you embark on your first thrilling game drive.

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast around 8:00 am, you’ll set off for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you along the crater rim before descending to the other side, offering a bumpy but enjoyable “African massage” as you travel through Maasai villages. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can take a short walk to a viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Serengeti’s endless plains. A hot lunch will be provided either at the gate or along the way, with a beautiful setup arranged by your guide in the heart of the bush. Serengeti National Park boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on Earth, and you’ll have the freedom to explore until evening. As the day comes to a close, you’ll head to your tented camp or lodge for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After enjoying breakfast at your camp, you’ll check out and head out for one final game drive in the Serengeti. You’ll explore the wildlife-rich Seronera River Valley or other areas of the park as guided by your expert safari guide. Your guide will stay connected with other guides via the high-frequency radios installed in the safari vehicle, ensuring you visit the best spots for wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, you’ll leave the Serengeti and make your way back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll check in at a lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater – back to Arusha

Breakfast at your lodge you will descend early in to the Crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier you descend to the Crater floor so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast in order to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like Black Rhinos with a little luck. Spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunchtime. Ngorongoro Crater with its 600 to 650-meter-high walls is like a natural zoo with the highest concentration of wild animals and it is here where you can even spot the Big Five even in one day if lucky enough. After picnic lunch which you will most likely take at the hippo poolside designated picnic site, you will drive up the Crater rim and out of the Conservation area. You will return to Arusha where you will arrive later in the afternoon.
