Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

On this first day, our tour guide in Nairobi will meet us and warmly welcome us. He will be with us for the entire journey until the last day. He picks us up at the hotel where we spent the night before or at the airport and starts a journey towards Lake Oloiden Flamingo Camp in Naivasha. This will be a short, two-hour journey. Upon arrival and check-in, we will be greeted with soft drinks and can embark on a boat ride, an optional activity (at an extra cost) on Lake Naivasha, before lunch. After lunch and a brief relaxation period, our guide will brief us on the available evening activities, allowing us the freedom to plan with him. Options include a nature walk on Crescent Island, a trip to Hell's Gate National Park for hiking, swimming in geothermal hot springs, visiting Crater Lake Game Sanctuary for a guided walk, a horseback safari, and birdwatching. We will then return to our camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast in Lake Oloiden Flamingo Camp, we return to our safari jeep and start our journey to the famous Maasai Mara. We get to Enkorok Mara camp 4 hours later and are welcomed by a hearty lunch. We briefly relax before kicking off our first Masai Mara National Reserve safari. This evening is exciting, promising great wildlife sightings, with an easy finding of the lions, the cheetahs, the rhinos, and the buffalos. We might as well get to see the most significant and fierce pride of lions known as the "Rongai pride," which usually walks and hunts in a group of 24. We enjoy our safari till dusk, return to our camp for a great dinner, and share the day's stories with our friends and families.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

This morning, we wake up to the noises of the wilderness and go for an early morning game drive because Africa’s beauty shines when it wakes up. After breakfast at the camp, the day is ours to explore with a variety of optional activities that include interacting with the wild during sundowners, having a feel of Maasai dances and being taken to a Maasai village, indulging in a walking safari or nature walk, or preferring a hot air balloon safari. Another moment to explore the reserve’s fauna and flora, or the game drive, is available in the afternoon. In the evening, we get the time to sit for dinner and, perhaps, to recall the stories of the day spent with the light of the stars above.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

We begin our day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cool morning air when animals are most active. This is a magical time to experience the beauty of the African savannah and witness a spectacular sunrise over the Mara. After the morning game drive, we'll return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Following breakfast, there's an option to visit a nearby Maasai village (at an additional cost) to learn about their rich culture and traditions. As our safari adventure comes to an end, we'll check out of the camp and begin our journey back to Nairobi. The drive-back offers one last chance to soak in the stunning landscapes and reflect on the incredible experiences we've had. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we are either dropped off at our hotel or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
