We will pick you up from your hotel and the tour will start at the old Darajani market. As you walk into the narrow streets of Stone Town, you will be able to take several pictures of the streets and buildings. Then you will be guided to the former slave market which now is the Anglican Cathedral which was constructed by Dr. David Livingstone in 1873 after the abolition of the slave trade.
The Spice Tour
In 1850s, sultan Said Said was very impressed by the fertile land of Zanzibar, he imported various spices from different countries, particularly Asian countries as one of his important commodities. We will give you the chance to see, test, and take pictures of the spices on their farms. We will explain how we plant, harvest and use spices in Zanzibar. You will be able to buy spices packed into small packets as gifts. We will then take you back to your hotel.
