Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari adventure begins with a 7 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport, followed by a drive to Nairobi Airport for your 10 AM flight to Masai Mara (Flight 1). The scenic flight will take approximately one hour, offering a bird's-eye view of Kenya's landscapes. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you’ll check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a hot lunch, relaxing as you take in the surroundings. In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting game drive. Your experienced guide will take you through the Mara’s diverse terrain, where you'll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and other incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. After an exhilarating game drive, you'll return to your lodge or camp by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM. Freshen up and unwind before savoring a freshly prepared dinner under the stars. Your lodge offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat where you can relax after your first thrilling day in the Mara.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today's schedule.

You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives around 9:00 AM with a packed lunch and return to the lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill). Later, you'll return to the accommodation for breakfast relax for a bit, and depart on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot to have a packed lunch. Later, you'll depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast, you'll board your flight back to Nairobi. The short flight offers a scenic return journey, providing one last chance to enjoy the stunning landscapes from the air. Upon arrival in Nairobi in the early evening, you’ll be transferred to either your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans. If you’re catching a flight, your guide will ensure you're dropped off in ample time for check-in. Alternatively, if you’re continuing your stay, you’ll be taken to your hotel for a restful evening, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
