Tarangire National Park

You will start your day with an early morning pick-up in Arusha, where you'll meet your guide and head toward Tarangire National Park. As you drive through the scenic Tanzanian countryside, you’ll begin to see the landscape shift, with vast savannas stretching ahead. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants and towering baobab trees, and as you enter the park, you'll likely encounter these gentle giants roaming freely. Throughout the day, your guide will lead you on game drives to spot diverse wildlife including lions, zebras, giraffes, and, if lucky, the elusive leopards. You’ll enjoy a delicious packed lunch at a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by nature’s beauty. In the afternoon, you’ll continue exploring the park, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. As the sun begins to set, you’ll exit the park and head to your nearby lodge or campsite for a relaxing evening and a well-deserved dinner, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will set off toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a haven for wildlife and boasts one of the highest concentrations of animals in Africa. As you make your way down into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views and a rich diversity of animals. You'll encounter large prides of lions, hyenas, and possibly even the rare black rhino in the crater’s unique ecosystem. A packed lunch will be provided at a scenic spot near the hippo pool, where you can observe these remarkable creatures up close. Following an afternoon of exploring, you’ll ascend from the crater floor and begin your journey back to Arusha. You will arrive in the early evening, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-day safari adventure.
