Day 2

You will have breakfast served at the lodge and thereafter, you'll depart to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet!.

Along the way, you'll pass through the mist-shrouded rain forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to see baboons or even leopards and elephants in the dense undergrowth. You will be passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to your accommodation where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

You early wake-up in order to proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent. It is almost 20 km wide, approximately 610 m deep, and is known for its large variety of wildlife. In addition to the Big Five, the various springs attract animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and more than 500 bird species. At a picnic site, you will have lunch before enjoying some more game viewing in the crater. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach your lodge in time for a beautiful sunset and time to relax.

Day 6

Manyara National Park Game Drive

Manyara National Park Game Drive

After breakfast, you will have a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park with splendid views of the Great Rift Valley wall. Your first encounter will probably be spotting large troupes of baboons. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. You will visit Lake Manyara, an alkaline soda lake that is home to an incredible array of bird life that thrives on its brackish waters. Pink flamingo stoops and graze by the thousands of colorful specks against the grey minerals of the lake shore. Yellow-billed storks swoop and corkscrew on thermal rising up from the escarpment, and herons flap their wings against the sun-drenched sky. Even reluctant bird watchers will find something to watch and marvel at within the national park like hippos. You will have a packed lunch served at a picnic site. After lunch, you will start to drive back to Arusha to your lodge for an overnight stay or transfer to the airport.
