Nairobi-Masai Mara Reserve

An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for its many sightings of lion, cheetah, hyena and other predators. If you’re seeing great processions of wildebeests and zebra marching through the reserve, you’re most likely here during the migrating season – July through October. That’s when vast herds invade the park, crossing the Mara River in a never-ending search for sustenance.

Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Overnight at the Lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Today we will traverse the savannahs, hills, and rivers, searching for all the big game. We’ll also see if we can spot topi, eland, and birds like stork, kingfisher, and hornbills in this fertile ecosystem.
We’ll picnic by the Mara River, site of the crossing and look for hippos and crocodiles plying the muddy waters.

For an up-close cultural encounter, we offer an optional visit to the local Maasai tribespeople in their nearby village. You’ll be able to learn about their lifestyle and perhaps purchase some colorful beaded souvenirs.

For a truly unforgettable experience take advantage of our optional pre-dawn balloon safari over the park. You’ll get an eagle’s eye view of the park coming to life as the animals below awake to a fresh, new day.

Our night at the Masai Mara will be at the safari lodge.

After breakfast, we depart to Lake Nakuru National Park where we’ll have time for a bird and game viewing drive. There are hundreds of bird species including flamingos and pelicans, rhino sanctuary, large game, and fantastic escarpments, waterfalls, and acacia forests.

Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we depart to Lake Nakuru National Park where we’ll have time for a bird and game viewing drive. There are hundreds of bird species including flamingos and pelicans, rhino sanctuary, large game, and fantastic escarpments, waterfalls, and acacia forests.

You'll arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the campsite or lodge.

Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha

Early Morning breakfast and game drive then later check out and drive to Naivasha. We’ll arrive at Lake Naivasha, a freshwater Rift Valley Lake where we will transition from jeep to boat for a safari across the lake. On the water, we’ll glide past curious hippos, exotic fish and have a chance to take in the full avian life such as cormorant and pelican

Then we’ll switch gears for a guided walking safari to close-by Crescent Island Sanctuary where we can stroll by peacefully grazing antelope, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and more.

Filling out our day, we’ll bicycle over (or take the 4 x 4 if you choose) to Hell’s Gate National Park for a safari through the gorge taking in the gazelle, zebra, and others.

It’s been a very diverse safari day!

We’ll spend the night at the Lake Naivasha safari lodge or tented camp of your choice.

Lake Naivasha- Amboseli

An early Morning start and drive to Amboseli National Park. Check in at accommodation and lunch later an afternoon game drive.​
Under the towering presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro, we’ll head out to look for the big game but also smaller and delightful sights like the warthog and ostrich.

Amboseli is also known for its busy avian life, especially around its marshes – look for pelicans and Egyptian goose.
We’ll head up the aptly named Observation Hill to take in views of the park. Look for elephants marching to their favorite waterholes and the busy birdlife below.

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well.

There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive.
