Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

The entire day is dedicated to game drives in Serengeti National Park. This park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is best known for the spectacular migrations of zebras and wildebeest. The timing of these migrations depends on rainfall and can vary from year to year. In November and December, the herds move from the northern region, characterized by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season, from April to June, they return to the north. In addition to the migrating herds, you may also have the opportunity to spot predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, which often lurk nearby.

With a dense animal population of about 25,000, the crater offers some of the best game viewing opportunities in all the parks in Tanzania. In just a few minutes, you might encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area.
