8:00 am driving to musanze Ruhengeri where you will visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund located under Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda home to the mountain gorillas. It represents the culmination of 20year dream to build a world-class research and education center to continue Dian Fossey’s legacy and keep saving gorillas from extinction.
You will continue your tour to gorilla naming ceremony ground where every year baby gorilla named with the purpose of conservation and appreciating those who play big role in conservation of nature in volcano national park.

Transfer From musanze Ruhengeru to kibuye Karongi Diatrict

Breakfast then drives to Lake Kivu in karongi district, the Rwanda’s most attractive of lake ports, nestled in a series of interwoven and undulating hills and offering visitors spectacular views of the lake, its islands and the stunning surrounding countryside. It is considered as one of Rwanda’s hidden treasures, with its lush green hills and peaceful breeze. Paddling across the coastline of Lake Kivu by boat ride is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the scenic, mountainous backdrop and tranquility of the water, There are no hippos or crocodiles, making it a safe and seamless experience.
This time you will have a chance of visiting Château le Marara european-style hotel on the outskirts of Lake Kivu in Karongi.
