Upon arrival on Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and greeted by a representative from Sustainable Safari Tours. You will the be driven to your arranged accommodation for relaxation and ready to embark on an epic experience. Later in the evening, you will get a brief from your guide about your tour.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will start a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, with lunch boxes packed for the day.

Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant herds and offers a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to vast savannahs, with the Tarangire River winding through the park. During the game drive, you may have the thrilling experience of watching a lion stealthily stalking its prey or spotting leopards perched high in the trees, observing the surroundings. The park is home to giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous bird species, making it an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Day 3-4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll set off for Serengeti National Park, where you'll embark on an exciting journey of wildlife exploration. Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park. In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a thrilling game drive as you make your way to the camp. After the day's activities, you'll be transferred to a lodge or camp to unwind, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

The following day will be dedicated to a full-day game drive, offering ample opportunities to experience the park's rich biodiversity.

The Serengeti is renowned for its iconic migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest. You can also expect to encounter resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, playing their vital roles in nature's circle of life.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will leave the camp with packed lunch box for a drive towards Ngorongoro crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino.

Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

After finalizing the game drive, you will start ascending the crater, driving towards Karatu town for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll have the unique opportunity to visit the Bushmen tribes of Datoga or Hadzabe in Lake Eyasi and immerse yourself in their rich culture and traditions. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to join a hunting expedition and witness their remarkable skills with bows and arrows, as well as participate in lively singing and dancing ceremonies.

In the late afternoon, you'll depart back to Karatu for an overnight stay and dinner.

You will have your lunch in the afternoon on a spotted site by your driver. Once the game drive concludes, you will then be transferred to Arusha either to the lodge or airport. And this marks the epic ending of your tour!

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, often spotted resting among the branches, and its vibrant colonies of baboons that inhabit the forest, providing lively company as you explore the park.
