Upon your arrival at the airport and after completing the visa formalities, our representative will welcome you, holding a sign with your name. They will then take you to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival and how long it takes, you may have the chance to experience the vibrant life of the capital's residents.

Antananarivo to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park

After breakfast, we will head to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park. The east road provides a panoramic view as we travel. We will stop in Marozevo to visit the small Pereyras Reserve, a breeding center for various butterflies, chameleons, reptiles and amphibians native to Madagascar.

Next, we will enjoy a relaxing meal in Moramanga before visiting the local market for a short exploration. Finally, we will continue our journey to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, where we will explore the private Vakona Reserve. Here, you can get close to lemurs, feed them (make sure to bring bananas), and photograph them on your shoulder.

We will spend the night at a hotel.

Visit Mantadia and Analamazaotra National Park

We will have an early breakfast at the hotel before departing for the special reserve of Mantadia. This park is situated in a wetland area, enabling us to discover many endemic flora and fauna native to this region. It is the only national park that is home to the largest lemur in Madagascar, the famous indri-indri. After lunch, we will have the opportunity to explore Anamalazaotra National Park, where we can observe other species of lemurs.

Andasibe to Manambato and Ankanin'ny nofy (Palmarium)

If you missed seeing the indri-indri the day before and are in a hurry, you still have the chance to discover them before you depart for Manambato. Manambato is three hours from Andasibe after passing through Brickaville. It is situated on the shores of Lake Rasoabe. After this, we will need to cross part of the Pangalanes Canal.

Make sure to visit your hotel to explore the different excursion options that are available.

Ankanin'ny nofy (Palmarium)

On this day, we can participate in several excursions, either on foot or by boat. During the visits, you will see lemurs and plants typical of the east coast of Madagascar. Additionally, there is an optional night tour on the island of Nosy Komba, which includes a boat crossing to observe the unique and protected aye-aye.

Palmarium to Toamasina and Flight to Antananarivo

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a boat trip through the Pangalanes Canal to Tamatave, the economic capital and largest port of Madagascar. Upon arrival in Tamatave, you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to Antananarivo. There is an option to visit the city before the flight.

Once you arrive in Antananarivo, a representative from the agency will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Antananarivo and Departure

To conclude the Pangalanes circuit, we will take a tour of Antananarivo, the capital city. During this tour, we will visit the craft market, which is the largest market in the city, as well as historical sites that showcase the rich history of the Malagasy kingdom.

After the tour, we will transfer to Ivato International Airport for your international or domestic flight to your next destination.
