4-Day Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Queen Elizabeth NP

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 8:00am, we will begin our drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey from Kampala to the park takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, we will have several stops—first, we will stop at Endiro cafe in Mpingi for coffee and restroom breaks. Then, we will visit the Equator to take photos and shop for souvenirs.

We will have lunch in Mbarara town along the way or possibly even earlier, depending on how everyone feels. After lunch, we will continue our trip to Kabale, where we will check into our lodge for the night.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast at 7:00am, we will depart for the gorilla trekking activity. Once we arrive at the site, you will be assigned to a group. Your guide will provide the briefing, and you will join other participants to form a group of eight. A knowledgeable guide will accompany you throughout the trek.

After the trekking experience, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive, where you can see some tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. Afterward, we will head to the lodge for refreshments, dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Boat Trip

We start our morning at 7:00am with breakfast before checking out of our rooms. After that, we continue our game drive to another sector of the park to explore more areas in search of wildlife. Later, we head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat trip to observe more wildlife and birds. The boat ride will last for three hours.

After the boat ride, we will drive to the lodge to check in, refresh ourselves and spend the night.
