2 travelers on Start dateNakupenda means "I love you" in Swahili. Situated near Stone Town on Unguja Island, the most exquisite beach in Zanzibar is Nakupenda Beach, also called Nakupenda Sand Bank. We will pick you up from your hotel so you can begin your adventure and take in the exotic and natural surroundings of Nakupenda Island. As you unwind on the sandbank entirely in the middle of the ocean, we will serve you seasonal fruits from Zanzibar and a seafood BBQ lunch that includes prawns, octopus lobster, calamari, fish, and chips with salad.
Prison Island served as a quarantine camp for traders arriving in Zanzibar after first serving as a prison. They had to pass a medical examination there before they could enter Zanzibar. The island is now famous for its giant tortoises, which were imported from Mauritius in 1820. You can tour the prison ruins, some of which are now restaurants and bars. The tortoises will be available for you to feed and photograph. At last, we will drop you off at your hotel.
