Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha for your overnight stay at Karibu Heritage House. The transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha takes approximately 1 hour, covering a distance of 53 kilometers. You'll enjoy the scenic drive as you relax before your exciting safari begins.

Day 2

Arusha to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

Arusha to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)

After breakfast, you will be picked up at 7:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and proceed to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti. The drive to Ndutu will take approximately 4 hours, depending on road conditions.

Ndutu lies on the western part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, extending into the southern reaches of Serengeti National Park. This area is renowned for being the prime breeding ground of the wildebeest migration between December and March, with over 2 million wildebeests giving birth to their calves in this region. It is also a prime location to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards hunting for prey.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a thrilling game drive, exploring the area’s rich wildlife. Afterward, you'll head to your lodge for overnight accommodation.

Day 3

South Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park

South Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up at 7:30 AM for an early morning game drive in the short grass plains of South Serengeti, famous for the wildebeest calving season from December to March. This area is also home to high predator activity, providing opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, and more.

After the morning game drive, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon, you will continue to Central Serengeti, known for its abundant wildlife and iconic acacia-dotted savanna. This area is famous for large populations of big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. While wildlife is abundant year-round, the migration months (April to June, October to December) offer peak viewing.

After an afternoon game drive, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest, preparing for another exciting day in the Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations. As you descend into the caldera, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of lush greenery, expansive grasslands, and soda lakes, often teeming with flamingos. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos.

In addition to these majestic animals, the crater is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with a rich diversity of species, including waterfowl around the lakes. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, providing a perfect opportunity to soak in the views and continue your wildlife observations.

This day offers an exceptional chance to witness the abundance of wildlife in this unique and fertile environment, making it a highlight of your safari experience. After the game drive, you will head back to your accommodation for the evening.

Tarangire National Park and Departure

Tarangire National Park and Departure

After breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, known as the "Elephant Paradise" due to its large elephant population. The park is famous for its iconic baobab trees and vast savannahs. During the dry season, thousands of elephants gather around the Tarangire River in search of water. Along with elephants, you’ll encounter wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, and hippos. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are also present, making this a prime safari location.

You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. Then, you'll continue your game drive to explore more of Tarangire's abundant wildlife. In the late afternoon, you'll return to your accommodation or head to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your remarkable safari experience.
