You'll depart Arusha in the morning and head for Tarangire National Park, where you will begin your first game drive before midday. Lunch will be served under the mighty baobab trees after you enter the park and catch your first glimpses of the wildlife and spectacular scenery. After lunch, you'll make your way through the park snapping photos of the zebras, giraffes, and elephants that call this area their home. Later evening, you'll drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at Kankari Lodge, Karatu.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you'll depart for Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive, via the Ngorongoro Forest. In Serengeti, you are expecting to see all the Big Five, including elephants, buffalo, leopards, and lions, as well as many other migratory herds such as wildebeest, gazelles, elands, and zebras. Later evening, you will drive to Tukaone Weavers Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After a hearty breakfast and morning game drive in the Serengeti, you'll make your way to the infamous Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera. An abundance of wildlife graces this infamous area, known worldwide for its stunning landscape. You'll enjoy spotting a multitude of different species, from elephants, hippos, and giraffes to the majestic crater lions and ravenous hyenas. After a short glimpse of the crater, you wind your way upwards as you head to your lodge.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you'll descend back into the crater for an early morning game drive, hoping the cool morning air allows you to see some active wildlife. As the temperatures rise, you may head to the hippo pool to see these spectacular creatures enjoying a dip to beat the heat. As lunch approaches, you'll make your way to the picnic site on the lake, taking in the spectacular views and a bite to eat before you head out on the final game drive. After your last glimpse of the park, you'll head towards the crater rim to make the journey back to Arusha for the evening.
