Morondava- Kirindy reserve

When you arrive, there is a guide and driver who will be waiting for you. After all formalities we will head to Kirindy forest. We will drive through the amazing baobab avenue. Here we will then stop for few minutes to take some pictures and enjoy the scenery then continue our way towards Kirindy reserve. This night we are going to do night walk to see several nocturnal lemurs sleeping, birds and some geckos.

Kirindy reserve- Bekopaka

After breakfast we will begin our day with a 2 hour visit of the Kirindy reserve and will continue seeing other wildlife such as several wild birds like coquerel blue coua, the common brown lemur and the Dickens Safika. After our visit we will begin to drive toward our final destination for the day the village of Bekopaka, which the gateway place to the Tsingy de Bemaraha Park. On our way to Bekopaka we will take our first ferry to across the Tsiribihina river into the town of Belo Tsiribihina where we will take a short break and have lunch. After lunch we will cross the Manambolo river by ferry and will arrive at our final destination for the day Bekopaka. Upon arrival into Bekopaka we will check into our hotel and get settled in for the evening.

Visiting Tsingy of Bemaraha National

Today after breakfast at the hotel, you will head to the big Tsingy to enjoy and discover how amazing it is and enjoy its nature. You will see lemurs, chameleons, night active lemurs and ring-tailed mongooses. The trek through the Big Tsingy involves a series of experiences. Climbing and scaling you’ll ascend steep rock faces to access hidden areas of the Tsingy. These climbs are well-managed and suitable for adventurous travelers, with guides ensuring safety at every step. Suspension Bridges also is one of the highlights of the circuit is crossing suspension bridges that span the towering limestone formations. These bridges offer incredible panoramic views of the rock forest and the surrounding landscape. You will have a picnic lunch over there in the middle of the rock forest. In the afternoon, you will feel strong enough to discover the small Tsingy, and head there to visit and experience its beauty. You can also decide to relax by the pool with your fresh drink.

Bekopaka - Sunset baobab Alley - Morondava

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel back to Morondava. On your way to Morondava, you will visit the sacred baobab and the “in love baobab”, which is the unique scene of two large baobab trees that have grown together intertwined. This tree symbolizes the union of two lovers and many couples come here to renew their vows. After this, you will continue your drive to admire the most popular sunset in all of Madagascar, the sunset at Baobab Alley. After your sunset experience at Baobab Alley, you will continue your drive to your final destination for the day Morondava. Upon arrival in Morondava, you will check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.
