Zanzibar - Tarangire

Your day begins with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar and we will take you to the airport where you will meet our colleague for briefing. From there, you'll fly to Arusha in a small plane. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, your knowledgeable guide will be waiting to greet you.

Later, we'll embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its abundant elephant population and ancient baobab trees, the largest on the continent. Sit back and enjoy the journey as we traverse the park's diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to grassy plains, all while keeping an eye out for wildlife along the Tarangire River.

After an exhilarating day of adventure, we'll make our way to your lodge where a delicious dinner awaits, followed by a restful overnight stay surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Ngorongoro Crater

Your day will begin with an early breakfast before we drive to Ngorogoro gate about 1hour to begin our descent toward the crater floor, where you'll be amazed by the sight of numerous mammals grazing. The Crater is an excellent spot to view the mighty Big Five.

In the afternoon, we'll have lunch at a picnic site near a hippo pool (with washrooms available). Afterward, we'll drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening for an overnight stay.

Materuni waterfalls

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a two-hour drive to Materuni village, nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you’ll hike to the renowned Materuni Waterfalls.

Following a local buffet lunch, you'll delve into the history of the Chagga people, the local residents of the Kilimanjaro region. Then, we’ll drive for one hour to Kikuletwa Hot Springs, where you can relax and unwind for the remainder of the day. In the evening, we'll head back to the airport to board our flight and our Guide in Zanzibar will drop you off at your hotel.
