1-Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda from Kisoro

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

Morning at 6am, you will be picked off at your hotel and transported to the park Station where the trek will start. The trek can last 2 to 4 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla families. The terrain is challenging, with steep climbs and dense undergrowth, but the anticipation of encountering these magnificent creatures keeps your spirits high. Finally, you reach a clearing and there they are—the mountain gorillas. Observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat is a humbling experience. Watching them interact, play, and care for their young offers a profound insight into their complex social structures and behaviors. You’ll have a precious hour to observe and photograph the gorillas, all while maintaining a respectful distance. After your hour with the gorillas, begin the trek back to the park entrance where you will receive a trekking certificate as a memento of your adventure. Drive back to Kisoro at your Hotel. End of the tour.
