Entebbe to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Start your journey early from Entebbe or Kampala and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant within the sanctuary before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls. Upon arrival, check in at Pakuba Safari Lodge and take some time to relax. Later in the evening, embark on a 1-2 hour game drive to spot the park's diverse wildlife, or simply unwind at the lodge, soaking in the serene surroundings.

Game Drive, Nile Boat Safari, and Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive through the park's savannahs and forests to spot wildlife like elephants, giraffes, and lions. Return to Pakuba Safari Lodge for lunch, then enjoy a 2 pm boat cruise along the Nile River to see hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes. The cruise culminates at Murchison Falls, where you'll take a hike to the top for spectacular views and a close-up of the falls. Learn about the falls' cultural and historical significance, including tales of ancient kingdoms. If time permits, enjoy a sunset before returning to the lodge.
