The Tarangire River, a vital water source, draws animals from all over, providing excellent viewing opportunities. Day 2

After breakfast, you will journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, taking in scenic views of the Rift Valley en route. Arriving in the park, you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive across the Serengeti plains, home to the famous Great Migration and a multitude of animals including lions, cheetahs, and wildebeests. This afternoon, explore the vast savannah, spotting zebras, gazelles, and a range of birdlife in the wide, open landscapes. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you’ll retire to your accommodation within the park for a night under the African skies.

Day 3

You will spend a full day in the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives that maximize wildlife-viewing opportunities. In the early morning, when the predators are most active, you may spot a pride of lions or a solitary leopard stalking its prey. As the day progresses, you’ll journey through different areas of the park, each offering unique scenery and habitats. After a midday rest, continue exploring in the afternoon, perhaps witnessing playful hyenas, grazing buffaloes, or the graceful giraffes. As evening approaches, return to your tented camp to relax and share stories of the day’s adventures.

After breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before setting off toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you’ll stop at a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll have the chance to learn about the Maasai culture and daily life in this unique community. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where panoramic views of the crater floor await. Tonight, you’ll stay at a lodge or campsite with views over this UNESCO World Heritage site, preparing for the next day’s adventure into the crater itself.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s premier wildlife hotspots. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem provides a sanctuary for nearly every East African species, including the rare black rhino. On your game drive, keep an eye out for lions, elephants, and large groups of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. The seasonal Lake Magadi attracts a variety of birdlife, including flamingos. After a memorable morning in the crater, you’ll drive back to Arusha, where your incredible 5-day safari adventure concludes.
