Day 1-5

Paradise Found at Likoma Island, Lake Malawi

Paradise Found at Likoma Island, Lake Malawi

From Lilongwe International Airport, you'll be transferred to Likoma Island in Lake Malawi for a 5-night stay at Kaya Mawa Island Lodge's Ndomo Private House.

Located on the south west corner of the island, this exclusive retreat has been built around boulders, with rough rock walls contrasting dramatically against smooth-plastered rooms that meander intriguingly around the rocky hill. Three of the four bedrooms are en-suite; the other has a bathroom just outside the door.

The house accommodates 8 people with access to your own private beach, kitchen and large living area. There's a plunge pool for the lazy days when the lake seems too far away and you’ll have your own staff, consisting of a house manager, nanny, chefs, housekeepers, and watchmen.

Activities during your stay here include snorkeling, sailing, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, walking and biking on the island, and a visit to Katundu community workshop.

Private Bush Camp Elevated Nests at Kafue NP

From Luanga, you'll be transferred to Kafue NP and the heart of the Busanga Plains where you'll spend 4-nights at Chisa Busanga Camp. Inspired by local weaver bird nests, your elevated Nest room blends seamlessly with nature, offering panoramic views of the vast plains. These architectural marvels are crafted sustainably to ensure minimal ecological impact while maximizing your connection to the wild.

Chisa stands out with its commitment to green innovation. As the only camp in the plains powered entirely by solar energy, you'll experience Silent Safaris, bringing you closer to nature's heartbeat.

Witness the magic as elephants wander beneath the Nests at sunset, and with more lions than beds for travelers, the plains promise an exclusive wildlife experience.

Your activities here include morning and evening game drives, walking safaris (minimum age limit of 12 years), eco-bike tours, mokoro canoeing, and a selection of out of camp picnics and meals.
