This marks the beginning of your tour! You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport by a company representative and then being transferred to the prepared accommodation for you to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure.
Optional, if you have ample time after arriving, you may visit choose to visit the local market within Moshi town.

Day 2

Moshi to Kindoroko Mountains

Moshi to Kindoroko Mountains

After breakfast, depart from Moshi town and start a drive to Kindoroko Mountain for a day hike. You can select between a 2-hour or a 7-hour hike to reach the 1,200-meter summit. During your adventure, you will have the opportunity to visit a local primary school, explore lush forests, discover caves, and enjoy beautiful waterfalls.

After finalizing the activity, your driver will take to arranged accommodation in Mwanga town for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Canoeing at Lake Jipe

Canoeing at Lake Jipe

After breakfast, drive to Lake Jipe and explore the local waterfalls before embarking on a lake tour in a traditional dug-out canoe, where you may spot hippos and occasionally elephants. Enjoy hot lunch at Mkisha Fishing Village, provided by a local women’s group. After lunch, you may choose to proceed from various activities such as swimming, visiting a rice and coconut farm, fishing, or consulting with an herbalist. Conclude your day with a return back to your lodge.

Game drive & Rhino Visit in Mkomazi National Park

After having breakfas, proceed to Mkomazi National Park with packed lunch box for a distinctive safari experience. Mkomazi is renowned for its successful conservation efforts for rhinos and wild dogs, providing a less crowded and more intimate wildlife experience.

During your visit, enjoy game drives to observe elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a diverse range of bird species against the breathtaking backdrop of the Pare and Usambara Mountains. This expedition promises an exciting and fulfilling exploration of one of Tanzania's hidden treasures.

In the late afternoon, take a short walk to observe the African wild dogs in the park while you wait the Tanapa vehicle, which will transport you to a nearby watering hole within the Rhino Sanctuary around 4:00 PM. After your visit, you will drive to Moshi in the early evening.

Depart from Moshi to Tarangire National Park for an unforgettable game drive. Renowned for its impressive herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique wildlife experience. The journey takes you through stunning landscapes, approximately 190 kilometers from Moshi.
Upon arrival, you'll spend the afternoon exploring the park's expansive savannah plains. You'll start the day with early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This remarkable caldera is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, covering approximately 260 square kilometers and reaching depths of over 2,000 feet.

You'll embark on a full day game drive, where you'll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Be sure to keep your camera ready for the exciting animal encounters. After enjoying a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, you will proceed with an afternoon game drive. In the evening you'll begin your ascent back to the crater rim for a drive back to the lodge.
