Game Drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you'll start driving in the Ishasha sector Isolated from the rest of the park, the Ishasha sector is famed for its population of tree-climbing lions. This behavior is unusual elsewhere in Africa, and it cannot be guaranteed here either, but the lions of Ishasha do take to the canopy with frequency (probably to avoid the attention of biting insects), and our experienced guide will make sure you check out all the specific trees they're known to favor. As you continue driving to your second lodging for lunch and refresh.
After resting, you'll head out for an evening game drive in another sector of the park, you'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active, and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment.
This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari. You'll return to the lodge, have dinner, and an overnight stay.
