2-Day Murchison Falls Trip

Transfer to Murchison, Hike to the Top of the Falls and Evening Game Drive

At 6:00am, we will begin our drive to Murchison Falls National Park, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic. Along the way, we will stop for lunch before continuing our journey.

Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by a troop of baboons as we enter the park. We will then hike to the top of the falls. Murchison Falls is known for being one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Water cascades through a gorge that measures 8m (26ft) wide.

After visiting the falls, we will embark on a short evening game drive through the park before heading to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

A Game Drive a Boat Ride and Transfer to Kampala

At 5:30am, we will enjoy coffee or tea before departing for an early game drive with a packed breakfast. During this drive, we will have the chance to see animals such as hyenas, lions, leopards and buffalos.

We will stop at the famous hippo pool to enjoy our packed breakfast. After the break, we will continue our game drive and proceed to a two-hour boat ride starting at 11:00am. From the boat, you will have the opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, birds and more.

After our activities in the park, we will drive out and head to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving at your lodge between 6:00pm and 7:00pm.
